Description

SOIL, CULTURE & HARVEST

Sandy soil. The vineyard is cultivated based upon Alsatian tradition and  the « A.O.C. Alsace » specifications are followed. The harvest is done by hand –pressing is carefully undertaken with pneumatic presses.

WINE-MAKING

Fermentation temperature is controlled by cooling – Ageing 8 to 10 months in century old oak casks – Bottling after tangential filtration – Storage in bottles in our cellars at stable temperature.

WINE AND FOOD

Excellent wine to be served with red meat and game or Thaï food.

3 to 5 ans. Serving temperature de service 8 to 10° C

COMMENTARY

Pure color, bouquet dominated by red fruit, cherries, blackcurrants. Very pleasant finish in the mouth, light and fresh.
