Clear robe with tints of straw yellow. The wine recalls forest vegetation and has a delicate smoky aroma, with notes of linden-tree blossoms. Well-balanced and structured. To be served with white meat : veal, fowl and some fish dishes such as eel and crayfish. Strongly recommended with foie gras.

Description

SOIL, CULTURE & HARVEST

Clayey soil. The vineyard is cultivated based upon Alsatian tradition and  the « A.O.C. Alsace » specifications are followed. The harvest is done by hand –pressing is carefully undertaken with pneumatic presses.

WINE-MAKING

Fermentation temperature is controlled by cooling – Ageing 8 to 10 months in century old oak casks – Bottling after tangential filtration – Storage in bottles in our cellars at stable temperature.

WINE AND FOOD

To be served with white meat : veal, fowl and some fish dishes such as eel and crayfish. Strongly recommended with foie gras.
