Its golden yellow robe already makes one eager to inhale its scent and to discover its taste. Intense and complex bouquet, with the over-ripeness of candied grapes and licorice. A velvet sensation invades the whole mouth, leaving a feeling of plenitude. A mellow wine ready to drink, but it may be kept in cellar for 10 years.
To drink on its own for the pleasure. A marvelous companion to fried foie gras.

Description

SOIL, CULTURE & HARVEST

Clayey soil. The vineyard is cultivated based upon Alsatian tradition and  the « A.O.C. Crémant d’Alsace » specifications are followed. The harvest is done by hand –pressing is carefully undertaken with pneumatic presses.

WINE-MAKING

Fermentation temperature is controlled by cooling – Ageing 8 to 10 months in century old oak casks – Bottling after tangential filtration – Storage in bottles in our cellars at stable temperature.

WINE AND FOOD

To drink on its own for the pleasure, but also a marvelous companion to fried foie gras.

15 to 20 years. Serving temperature 8 to 10° C
